Terms and Conditions for the Path to Yes Program Initial Assessment

By participating in this initial assessment, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1.     Program Purpose and Next Steps:

·      The purpose of the initial assessment is to evaluate your business's current state and determine placement within one of the following business tracks:

§ Business Ideation
§ Business Innovation/Growth
§ Pre-qualification (Funding)
§ Final Financial Exploration

·      Following the completion of the assessment, participants will be informed of the next stage, which involves scheduling an appointment with an industry business advisor.

·      Advising sessions will be conducted by professionals from the South Dallas Fair Park Innovation Center (SDFP Innovation Center) and Vista Bank’s vetted and trained team.

2.     Participant Requirements:

·      Participants must provide accurate, tangible, and factual information about the current state of their business as part of this assessment.

·      Participants acknowledge that they have the option to move forward in the program after completing the assessment.

·      If participants choose to proceed, they will be required to complete a program application and pay a non-refundable $50 application fee. This fee covers the cost of program materials and curriculum.

3.     Program Rules and Expectations:

·      Participants agree to adhere to all rules and expectations set forth by the Path to Yes Program.

·      Participation in the assessment or any subsequent stages of the program does not guarantee funding. The program serves as a resource to strengthen and develop business ventures.

4.     Confidentiality and Ethical Standards:

·      The information provided during the assessment and advising sessions will be treated with confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of program placement and development.

·      Participants agree to engage in the program with honesty, professionalism, and respect for the advisors and other participants.

5.     Liability Disclaimer:

·      The SDFP Innovation Center and Vista Bank are not liable for any business outcomes resulting from participation in the program.

·      The program is designed to provide guidance and resources but does not ensure success or financial gain.

By completing the initial assessment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. Your participation in the Path to Yes Program represents your commitment to the program's goals and your business development journey.
